My wife would not describe herself as a cyclist, she does not own a piece of lycra, but uses her bright pink cruiser bike to get to a lot of places within a few miles of our house (since we live downtown, that is the majority of errands). She was thrilled the other day when someone whistled at her and made the comment "now that beats a pink Cadillac all to hell!" Since we are grandparents, she was very happy with the attention.
