I'm glad you're appearantly at least okay. Get back on that horse as soon as the pain allows!
I'm also glad the person at least stopped and st least claimed responsibility, which is rare these days. Also, congrats on the bike being okay...well kind of. A new bike from the insurance company might have been nice!

She was talking on a bluetooth enabled cell phone. So to all those people out there who think that talking on a handsfree device lessens the impact of the level of distraction of talking on a cell phone while driving are wrong.

OP ~ thanks for sharing. what speeds were you each traveling at? were you using a rear strobe? were you wearing hi-vis clothing. not trying to make a point just curious.

No, I realize that more likely than not even if she wasn't on a phone that she probably wouldn't have paid anymore attention to what she was doing. She'd probably would have been playing with the radio, changing a CD, etc.
