No time!

https://www.cbc.ca/m/touch/health/sto...line-poll.html

It seems (according to an online poll commissioned by the Heart and Stroke Foundation) that Canadians have no time for healthy living.

Among reasons cited were, time needed to commute and time needed to watch TV

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this was, the song 'Too Much Time On My Hands', by the classic rock band Styx.

Hopefully not at the same time. One of my co-workers remarked to me, a few days ago, about seeing a motorist watching a fairly large monitor screen attached to the dashboard of the motorist's vehicle that was parked just outside our workplace, and it definitely was not a GPS unit.

This being the advocacy forum, I'm sure you can watch TV from an iphone/ipad mounted to your handlebars while you commute.

Never mind, Apple is already on it. Their solution is even crash resistant!

Ask and you shall receive, Closetbiker.

I hope that doesn't happen. Dumb motorists' are already doing that kind of stupid behavior around cyclists. Cyclists' don't need to be inviting stupid behavior.

One would think with advent of television in cars, that there would be more time for exercise, but I guess more access means simply more tv

and is that an electronic shift setup to boot? Looking at the cables/wire entry to the frame.

According to the survey most Canadians do have enough time for exercise and TV was not cited as a reason for not enough exercise time.

Good question! ( It's not my bike; I asked Google about mounts for Apple stuff, because iphones and ipads are so popular lately. ) Maybe someone can make an app where you shift by touching icons on the screen ... and then the more expensive version gives you an automatic transmission, wired into your heart rate monitor and cadence sensor, automatically shifting when it's appropriate to?
