I wonder if they can be stored in such a way that they don't take up too much space.

Just went and saw 'Jindabyne'. Not recommended for second date material. Well made, good thought provoking stuff though. Doesn't pull any punches regarding gender relations, communities, race relations, relationship relations...
Got the conscience working but. I did explain to the Seppo last night that she didn't have necessarily have to tip at all if she really didn't want to. Oh and the snog was mutual. No apologies for the Lancebashing though.

I've used one those upsidedowny things. Does work quite well for the back, and yes you do feel the blood pressure in the head, but that's not necessarily a bad thing is it?

Thats not bad though. My longest chinup was 3min something, but that was back as a teenager, and certainly not with any weights strapped to my bloody ankles. As regards the upsidedowny thingy though, you relax while you're on it and you upper body weight does a very nice job of stretching you out; it gets more effective the more you relax. Much different to hanging your weight from your tensed arms. Try one in a shop or something if you get the chance.

Quick drive to Fyshwick should sort that out.

62vette 07-25-06 04:41 PM

The porn capital of the world also sells crackers? There's an odd juxtaposition for you...

Hmm, it's interesting. I would venture to suggest that your chances of success with the opposite sex may be somewhat diminished whilst wearing this design.

"Honk if you're a witless porcine sodomiser" would be equally effective but a little more subtle.

What's the traction contraption you had? Some kinda weighted shoe thing -- but what supported your upper body?

It's two big foam "boots" that you put your lower legs in, then they velcro up tight....looks like you've got two broken legs. You lie in bed, the foot end on a couple of blocks so it's raised slightly, and attach these special plastic bags you fill up with the requisite amount of water to reach a set weight (I was 15lbs per leg) to a stirrup-thing that goes under the sole of your foot. The bags then hang off the end of the bend, stretching you out gently. 1-2 hours a day....I'd just watch TV and fall asleep.

Didn't really feel it doing much, was pretty sore afterwards. But then I went down like a bag of dirt a week later and it was all change.

That reminds me of an MP3 I heard a while ago. Does anyone remember the "Abdominizer" and their terrible infomercials? Someone emailed me an MP3 that was a spoof of that ad for a product called the "sodomiser". I wonder if I can dig it up from somewhere.
