Actually classic1, I prefer "Thylacine Cycles - Kicking Against the Pricks" :D
I have to say....and this might be controversial.....but I think I prefer Fifth Gear  :) Comedy wise? South Park is dead. I'm sorry, but the arse head episode wasn't funny. At all. Certainly no Paris Hilton episode anyway. Denton is rockin' as always. I'm actually bracing myself for Dr.Hans Kreepy and his Plasticised People Show. Will I have nightmares tonight? That's the big question. |

Was an exgirlfriend across the table actually. And it is alright to snog an ex goodnight after dinner, isn't it?
Matagi, twas the local, Sel et Poivre on Victoria st, they're not about to win any Michelin stars but it's good hearty food. The pleasantly eccentric chap who owns it can always be relied on to entertain with his way wiz ze ladies, and is perfectly counterpointed by the smooth elegance of the Aussie woman who runs it with him. All good. A much better French restaurant some friends have recently opened on Bourke st. just off Taylor Square called Le Pelican. Great ambience, Excellent food. Highly recommended. |
Well lar dee farkin' dar. Pies, Fish and Chips and Chico Rolls not good enough for ya! Got to go and get some of that farkin fancy pooftah posh foreign food to impress a shiela? Closest I get to foreign food is when I say to Nick the Greek at the local fish and chip shop to gis a Souvalaki.
The one time I took my missus out for wog pooftah food was to the pizza shop. Ungrateful cow never stopped whinging about how I drank too much when I'd only drunk a dozen cans and how I was always hangin' out with me mates. Fair dinkum said it in front of them right there in the pizza shop and everything, bloody embarrassment. Mates hung sh1t on me for bein under the thumb for weeks. Never again! Bloody women get all uppity when they get introduced to culture and edjucation and stuff. |

Is having the personality of a stunned Macaque a personal setback?

Best French restaurant I've ever eaten at in Sydney was the short lived Restaurant Liberte at Cockle Bay. Alas, the chef, Philippe Mouchel, has returned to Melbourne - and yes, it is the same Philippe Mouchel that cooked the odd dish in those appalling Garry Gatt segments during the TdF broadcast. As for snogging an ex goodnight ..... I would have to say probably not alright, unless she initiated the snog. :p |

http://www.blackburncycling.org.au/ Classic.... I know the name, but a bit before my time. I bailed on blackburn in 1995 (I think) had a fight with them over funding to get a couple of us to a race. Joined Italo-Australia with Macca. |
My brother is a member of Italo. They are sort of like the club that isn't a club...no home track or races etc. :)
I raced with BBN for a couple of years but not since 2004 and have have thought I might sign up with the Italo boys if I want to (or get fit enough to) race again. Their kit matches my bike so I could join the OCP thread! |

Way to go...I think Gino Carmelli is still the man over there. Used to be my regular pusher for handicap starts at Northcote (when it was concrete and outdoors....:D). Although I did manage to get a launch once from big John Kennedy in a heat of the Austral or Melb Cup on Wheels or something. Like being shot out of a cannon...and I think he was wearing flip-flops!! |
