Phinney reckons he was doing 55-60kph easy, head down. Didn't even get on the brakes.

oh well, i guess thats just another reason to spend some more hard earned on PBK to get me a new Ultegra job.... can i jsut change the chainrings? or does the whole crank have to be done? just looked it up on RBR and its supposed to have 52 - 39..... not happy clarence street, not happy by half. |

Is that the same dude? I hope not. Look at the differences in his arms in the two pics. That caint be natural.

First photo is Phinney.
2nd is Hampsten, Alcala, Winnen, some bloke from Reynolds I can't recognise and Pedro Delgado at the back of the group. |
They look like twins (except the arms). Must be the googles.
|
OK I'm bored with the usual "who's going to win tonight stage" crapola. Let's get into something more interesting like "What's the highest ranked rider on GC to crack the worst on Col de Joux-Plane?" :roflmao:
I'm going for Dessel to finally crumble tonight. Little bugger's been hangin in there beyond all expectations, although I don't think anyone's going to capitulate like Pink did last night. |

ok, so when you "zip up" to take the win, make sure you "adjust" your other parts so you don't get photographed looking like this !

Ok Seamus, you can have a bag of pototoes or a new pair of shorts. Whats it going ta be be golly be gosh?
|
It's a bit like the Kevin Bloody Wilson song about dropping a spud down your speedos to make your nob look bigger. You just have to make sure you drop it down the front not the back :D
|
Are those holes in his knicks just below the edge of his jersey?
As for the appendage, meh, much ado about nothing. ;) |
WTF is going on there!?! Did he do a massive fart or did he crack a woody mid race?
|
he's making a little smiley face, he must be happy about winning but he was in the hurt box so bad he couldn't show it on his face.
|
Ok guys, here's a question - I'm watching the TdF highlights on SBS and we've just had the bit where T-Mobile accelerated to catch the guys in front and pulled Landis up with them, which the commentators thought was not a good move.
However, given that they had been sitting in the peleton with Landis for some considerable time, do you reckon they knew he was running out of steam and did it on purpose with the express intention of breaking him? yes? no? maybe? |
