Centrix beach cruiser info please
I recently picked up this centrix beach cruiser looking bike.
The best part about it is that it has good proper brakes and aluminum wheels while looking like a beach cruiser.
The bad part is - whoa who thought of this clunky setup to hold the handle bar ? its inpossible to get it tight enough to not spin.
I am replacing it or if my wife really wants that wide look, setting it to where my wife wants it, and drilling and pinning it.
I also have a mint condition Huffy cranbrook I won in a raffle. I cant get over the single speed and my wife hates the coaster brake, so its never been ridden.
I also have an Ozone500 project bike, is that meant to be a beach cruiser ? all those curved frame lines dont = beach cruiser ? I've never had it assembled, so I have no clue what it supposed to be.
Thanks.
Srinath.

the centrix is a kinda burnt orange 7sp bike? i have a couple i picked up as future project material. never ridden either that i can remember or down the street if i did. i know the twist grip shifter was broke on both. i hate those things and would switch to a friction thumb shifter if i put them back together as is. i think it has the same 1" head tube as the huffy. you could just stick the stem and bars from the huffy on it.

I am hoping to use the Raleigh's bar and quill on it if the centrix's bar keeps spinning. Hoping to sell the huffy.

Pic of the centrix. Yes missing one pedal and pedal arm, and the front brake. Both of which I am locating and fitting onto it. Seat stem and springs have gone to powdercoat
Thanks.
