2009 Haro Railer SS

Here is my mildly customized Haro Railer. It started life with a spring seat, rear fender, wide cruiser bars and only a Hayes mechanical disc in the rear. I have swapped/added Origin8 cranks, chainring, Primo Tenderizer pedals, relaced front rim with Novatec disc hub, 5 pc. BMX bars and a Black Ops carbon fiber fork to accommodate the Shimano hydraulic disc front/rear. It also has Vans tires and grips!

That’s one fine looking cruiser! I’d love to do some of your mods with my Electra Cruiser 1 .

Bikes: Rideable; 83 Schwinn High Sierra. Two cruiser, bmx bike, one other mtb, three road frames, one citybike.

That does look good! Kinda what I wanna do to my diamondback drifter1; throw a carbon disc fork on it.

Ronjon

Hello.. I’m trying to change my front fork to a suspension fork on my 2009 Haro Railer... any suggestions on a brand that would work well and allow for a disc brake.?

Thanks

Ronjon, I do not have hardly any experience with suspension forks... the only advice I can offer is before you purchase a fork, measure the tube as the Railer head tube is very long...

Looking for Denim Saddle from Railer SS

Hello --

This is a long shot but would you, by any chance, still have the original denim saddle that came with your Railer SS? I also have this bike and have ridden it as a daily commuter year-round for a very long time. My seat on this is toast and I'd love to replace with the same original. I am in Bend, Oregon and can send you a shipping label for it and Venmo you a payment for it. Say, $50?

Thanks!
Alice
