IGH converting a cruiser - how hard?
I have an IGH hub sitting around. How hard would it be to put it onto a single speed cruiser? Does it need mounts to be added or fabbed or just what's already there?

the anti rotation tab usually fits the dropout slot,, then you strap on the piece for the coaster brake
around the chainstay..
There are various solutions for the shift cable, depending on which sort you have.

Check the stay spacing, as well. The IGH hub may require wider spacing. If a steel frame, this isn't a big issue, as you can cold spread the stay to fit, if the hub is wider, or add a spacer nut on each side if a little too narrow. If it's an aluminum frame, though, you can't cold spread it.

Check amazon, there is someone selling a 3speed coaster IGH kit which the wheel is already built and you just need to wire up the cable and shifter.
