The Easiest Tutorial on how to make FD work perfectly!
So I can never get FD to work perfectly .There is always some chain rub i.e. when cross-chaining.
Is there a great tutorial on how to get your front dereilluer perfect?

Depending on what equipment your bike has your standards regarding no chain rubbing when cross-chaining might be unrealistic.
I like the Park Tool instructions. Be sure to do the steps in order because each adjustment that you do can affect subsequent adjustments. I think that the very first step, regarding the position of the derailleur on the seat tube, is a biggie. If that's not perfect, you can fiddle around all afternoon and never get your front derailleur to work right.

As observed by others, total freedom from rub when cross-chained (which is inadvisable for other reasons) is often unavoidable.

I'll tune out the rub if I can, but I won't obsess over it for too long in the extreme cross-chain positions. I'd rather be out riding the bike at that point.

It can be accomplished on a double usually but your can forget it on a triple. The trim function is the key.
