Brake shoe and pad replacement

Does anyone know if regular Ultegra direct mount brake shoes and pads will fit on Bontrager direct mount brakes ? I know the inserts will work if you trim the pad stop off the end but I need to replace one of the shoes also.

Yes and they only had the Shimano pads not the shoes and said they would probably work but had to order. I have had zero luck with them on these brakes and my level of trust is none existent. I went ahead and ordered the standard Kool Stop Dura 2 pads and shoes and they fit fine. Just for the record the Shimano pads do not fit the Bontrager shoes out of the box. You have to trim off a small amount of the pad that is used as a stop on the Shimano shoes or they will not go in far enough to put in the set screw. I knew this but the Trek dealer did not hence the lack of confidence in them.
