Evo Classic Front Rack
No problem connecting the bottom of the rack to the front dropout. Received screws and an adapter but the screws didn't fit the top of the fork hole and perhaps not the adapter. I imagine I want a hex bolt for the fork hole and something similar for the adapter. Could maybe figure it out with a trip or two to a hardware store but maybe someone here has experience. The bike is a Men's Ross Mount Washington (mountain/road).

So I'll ask the question. Why link to a rear rack when asking about mounting to the fork? error in linking or error in trying to use a rear rack up front?
Mounting things like fenders and racks require some ability to deal with the bike's aspects which affect mounting hardware and it's placement. No rack company can predict which of the many millions of bike sold last year that you've trying to install the rack to. The hardware kit is a middle of the cheapest possible bell curve assembly they think they can get away with. Almost every fender or rack I mount uses some additional/alternative hardware and sometimes 'creative" placement of said hardware.
It's too bad that Erector Sets aren't being given as Christmas presents to young kids any more. Andy.

I guess about a 1.5" long 7mm head hex for the caliper hole and something funky for the adapter. May try a hex screw for the adapter though.

Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!
Caliper brake mounting bolts are usually M6x1.0 so if the OP wants to use the mounting hole in the fork crown, that will be what he needs.
