Schrader to Quick Connect?
Hi;
I have a small 12V compressor I use for my car (or bike when I'm at my car) which has a female schrader fitting to fit the car's tire valve.
I would like to have a chuck type clip-on head instead, but cannot seem to find an adapter.
I did find some replacement hoses for bicycle pumps, but I don't know what the size of the fitting on the pump end is. Would that be a male schrader, or 1/8" NPT?
If it is NPT, then can I buy another adapter to make the female schrader fit it?
Thanks for your help

Two of bike pumps I have are fitted with plastic compression fittings at the pump end of the hoses and the other has metric fitting that is similar to 1/8"NPT but not compatible so none of these are useful for you. For your compressor I'd get a threaded fitting that goes into the compressor with a hose barb sized for the hose at the other end.

Thanks HillRider;
That sounds like the best option. I did find lots of schrader male to hose barb fittings on Ebay and Amazon. I guess to make sure I get the correct size fitting, I should purchase the hose with schrader clamp first, then measure the I.D. of the hose.
