trunk rack & fin

I bought a used car yesterday . It has one of those silly trunk lid fins. My trunk lid rack is lent out to someone. But what is your experience with a trunk fin and a rack? I already hear you saying, just depends!! I thought I'ld ask anyway.

Bikes: Catrike 559 I own some others but they don't get ridden very much.

By fin do you mean a horizontal wing?

A Saris Bones rack will span many wings but I doubt it will work with all of them so I'm going to say "just depends".

Even the resources of rack manufacturers can't always determine whether a rack will fit every possible car and option of said car. For us to be able to say so with the supplied info (or lack of) requires us to have a crystal ball.

As long as the rack frame/feet and the straps don't contact the spoiler you'll be fine. Until you trial fit the rack to the car that's all anyone can say. Andy.

My experience is pictures would help a lot; AFAIK none of us are psychic...
