80's Specialized Expedition Specs

What are head tube/headset specs for mid 80's Expedition road touring bike? Is headset comparable/compatable with same vintage Campy road set? I have worn out my touring headset through generations of bearings.

Bikes: 2008 Novara Randonee - love it. Previous bikes:Motobecane Mirage, 1972 Moto Grand Jubilee (my fave), Jackson Rake 16, 1983 C'dale ST500.

Measure the ID of the head tube, check headset stack height against original to see if compatible (including spacer adjustment)

Almost certainly 1" English threaded headset. A Tange Levin was classy back then and will work fine for another 40 years:

You'll probably have to remove the fork race and measure the diameter of the seat. It will be either 26.4mm or 27.0mm- bikes of that era could be either.
