replacement crankset recommendation needed

Have an FSA Dyna Drive 48/36/26 crankset on which the drive side pedal came loose and destroyed the threads in the crank arm. I cant seem to find that exact set anywhere online, can someone recommend a similar replacement. I've seen SHimaos ranging in price from $30 to $150 and not sure which series would be comparable quality to the one I need to replace.

Thanks

The Acera is the cheapest with replaceable chainrings. $30 and you need a square taper bottom bracket.
The Deore is a modern 2 piece crank and comes with the outboard bottom bracket for $75. That's the one I'd recommend.

I still like square Taper .. Only have 1, (octalink) that is Not.

But I'm commuting and touring , those who need the latest gear to be feeling competitive, racing, Make different choices.

For ease of use 2 piece/external BB's like the Shimano HT2 system are the simplest to use, no need to work out chain-lines as they are fixed by the manufacturer, nothing wrong with Square Taper or Octalink, but both are old technology as bikes go.

Bikes: Several, mostly not name brands.

You may be able to helicoil the crank to restore the threads at significantly less cost than a replacement crank. Your LBS may have a helicoil kit; otherwise, the drive side pedal thread is identical to standard spark plug thread, so anyplace that services small engines may also be able to fix it with a helicoil.

Stripping a drive side pedal on those is really punished in the replacement price.

I was thinking about helicoil, (that link was interesting) .

I just got a call back from my dealer. Apparently the original crank was an OEM and not available aftermarket.

They said Trek tech docs list the Shimano Alivio FC-T4010 48/36/26T 175mm as the replacement. Its only $40 bucks so Ill just swap it out.

Its also an Octolink crank so all I would need is the appropriate crank puller to do the job(other than hex's), right? S
