Using Shimano Nexus 7 shifter with SRAM S7 hub?

I suppose all the information is in the thread title, so ... could you?

Sheldon Brown's cable pull table suggests no- the Nexus indexing seems to be way shorter than the SRAM.

Not compatible. Also, Sachs/Sram S7 shifter clickbox combo uses a proprietary cable which is thicker that a standard cable, and are supplied as a unit. Your best bet is to look on ebay for a shifter clickbox combo unit.
