What type of tool is needed to remove this old crankset?
I've been searching around for couple of hours now. I have no idea what kind of tool would I need to remove this. The bike is 8 years old. Cant upload pictures because i dont have 10 posts.. I will try to comment the link

You can post a number of times (in this or other threads) and be patient until you attain the needed post count to then attach photos. Andy

Exactly, if the bike is a well known make and model, there are people in this forum who might know what crank you have. Some might even take the time to look it up and figure it out. Information is key, simply stating that you have an 8 year old bike doesn't give anyone much to go on
