Handlebar dimensions too small.

Handlebar dimensions too small.
I want to fit a bar end mirror. Standard size is from 16 mm upwards. Problem is that the inner dimension of my bars is 15.5 mm. Mirror that I bought will not fit. Is an undersized handlebar diameter a common thing?

they exist... and so do smaller wedge clamps for mirrors.
