You are looking for a basic suspension fork from a 5-year-old $600 hybrid. This is not a hard thing to find. The SR Suntour NEX is still available, as are a host of other equal or better forks.

Your insistence on 2012 TREK blue is what makes it an impossible task.
Even if you were getting a warranty replacement in 2012, you would probably get on in the 'stock' black or white.

Your dealer probably has lots of options for you, but if you insist that it be in an out-of-production paint scheme; then that's more trouble than it's worth for most shops.

without everyday people, a business cannot exist. The resellers are to satisfy the wants and needs of folks not the other way around.

With that now being OBE, a more probable solution may exist. Should the service kit for the fork be not procurable, then that's a new dilemma.
