Can't Find Tech Spects on Shimano DH-S700 Hub?

I'm building a wheel and I can't seem to find the measurements on the Shimano DH-S700 dyno hub anywhere. Any have anything that could help?

If you wan't measurements, and you have the hub, use a caliper/ruler. Shimano Tech Doc's don't give dimensions.

Dimensions can be found in the Shimano specification handbook.

Shimano 2004-2017 Archive

Download the 2012-2013 specifications PDF. Your hub is on page 199.

Thank you so much! I couldn't find that info anywhere, and I did a good amount of searching, trying different search words, etc. In general, this is a great resource to have.

I agree that is a wonderful resource. Between it and the Shimano Dealer-User on-line manual there is about everything you could need.

Nice, but why do Shimano hide it!! it's like they don't want you know about it, the SI is hard enough to find if you don't know about it.

I don't know if Shimano really "hides" it or doesn't consider it info the typical rider is interested it so they don't publicize it widely. I expect it's common knowledge to Shimano dealers and LBSs.

Their new web site sucks. I'm too computer illiterate to find my way around it.

Are you referring to Shimano's regular product web site? It doesn't offer much technical info or specifications and probably isn't intended to.

Their Dealer-User web site which provides reproductions of the owners manuals, exploded views and detailed installation instructions for all of Shimano's current and well into the past components and the, to us, newly discovered Specification Manual everything you could want to know is available and not to hard to navigate.
