That's for a traditional frame pump. The things on the fork are for a front rack. The bolts by the rear brake are something i've never seen, but if they're on both seat stays maybe it's to give you two options for installing a rack.

To attach a pump, did cross my mind..but i don't see a fitting on the seat tube?

There are just 2 bolts on the one stay

can't imagine what they'd be for?!

I have a box full of lights, tail lights, dynamos...will see if a bracket fits

does it matter which way a dynamo spins?

i think i've taken them off scrap bikes that were on the right side fork

left side, forward facing, is the way it should go , bottle dynamo contacts the traction band on some tire sidewalls.

You could say my bikes are Rat Rods, good selected parts used from scrap bikes
wheels, crank, freelwheel, chain {miminal wear] sealed BB, V brake shifters 7X3 - Merida Hybrid
stem - Reid beach cruiser
Rear derailleur - Giant Yukon. Front derailluer - Suntour
handle bar - original to the frame
grips - Repco traveller

Rides nice
