Seat angle adjust problem

Just installed new saddle and want to make very slight angle adjustment. Won't move. Carbon fiber aero seat post and it has not been moved for over five years. Both metal clamshells are frozen. I tried light tapping with a drift pin thru bolt hole to opposite side but afraid to get aggressive.

So decide which is more important- saving the seat, the post or not making any adjustment (for now...). 5 years of neglect is way too long for a bike part to get service. Toss in reactive materials and the likely lack of assembly compounds and you end up here. Andy
