Measurement of a Park Pro Double base?

Hello! I finally found a suitable pics of schedule 80 pipe to build a double stand and I was hoping someone could take a measurement for me?

Specifically I am looking for the size of the horizontal cross tube on a Park Pro double as shown in the picture.

I have 24” to work with and estimated it to be around 12”, but if someone has access to a Pro Stand and could take a quick measurement, I’d be grateful!

Thanks!

The two old PRs-2s I have measure within 1/8" of 12".

I suggest a base that is wider than 24". Andy

Thanks, Andrew! I’ll be sure to make the base at least that wide, but I might just bolt it down.

Thank you again.

Wide heavy base and bolting it down is not a bad idea. For the Electric lift stands we have two plates for most of them. When working I want the most stable platform possible so if I have two mechanics working it won't wobble or fall on anyone or damage bikes. I don't have one at home but I can measure at the shop if you need more accurate but I think Andrew R Stewart got you well sorted as usual : )

If you bolt it down, you still need a decently wide flange or base. The typical cast flanges sold commercially are inadequate for the side loads stands generate, and will looses, rock, or tear up your floors.

Figure you need about 1 foot for either through bolting on a wooden floor or using solid anchors in concrete.
