I tossed the chewed-up one, and ordered one from Framebuilder's supply. It looks like the Problem Solvers ones are sold to bike stores and not on the web, so I'll check when I'm in Santa Fe next. The $39 one looks good, alright, but is too much $ unless nothing else works, thanks.

Buy what you want or need. But remember - just like a head tube (for headsets) and bb shells (for axle assemblies) the seat lug AND the seat tube should be prepped for accepting a seatpost. These are not holes you shove things in willy nilly. Make sure the i.d. of the seat tube isn’t warped or similarly distorted or gouged. Make sure the frame slot is parallel and not mangled from previous installations. Most importantly is the lug dimensions. Not all bolts play well with all seat lugs. It’s imperative that the 8mm hole is counterbored on both sides. That way, the machined surfaces are your correct contact points RATHER THAN the ear exteriors.

My bolts and kits come with an instruction sheet that walks you through the assembly tasks.

Too many people think a seat binder bolt is some aftermarket thingy that comes poly bagged from QBP and should cost less than its cost to ship somewhere. Mine are not designed for that mindset.

Sorry, I edited after you posted. The Cinelli Supercorsa seat bolt is unique (proprietary?) and tends to be a bit brittle. Would be nice to have one of higher quality.

Jim Merz Portlandjim can make one for you in stainless or titanium.

Jim's bolt is turned, not rolled threads like Richard's pinch bolt, but very very nice. comparison with the original item on the right.

Remember there are several different iterations of these depending on your Cinelli's vintage.
