Bar end shift cable replacement

Happened at the worst time, all shops are way behind with Xmas put togethers. Any tips on what to do or avoid with a cable on a tri-bike that goes through the frame? Trek Hilo.

It looks like a standard cable replacement, is it that easy?

Bikes: Catrike 559 I own some others but they don't get ridden very much.

Probably. If you have a standard cable housing that runs through the frame, you can simply replace the cable. If the cable is bare where it runs through the frame, the easiest way is to slide a thin tube onto the cable and through the frame before you pull the cable out. Then you can use the tube to guide the cable during the reinstallation.

Cool. I believe it's got the cable sheath all the way through. Thanks!
