Tourney shifters - shift cable replaceable?
Shimano Tourney SL-RS40 twist-grip shifters. There are no English service documents on the internet (or even German ones - the ADFC site has broken links). And I don't see an obvious way to detach the shift cables. The ones pictured on eBay all have cables attached. At least one of these cables is toast. Do I have replace the whole #$*! shifter set?

Bikes: Catrike 559 I own some others but they don't get ridden very much.
1. Make sure that the floor that you're working over is clean and clear. That way you'll have less trouble finding the tiny black screw when you drop one.
2. Find your smallest phillips screwdriver and start disassembling the plastic outer covering. Eventually you'll come to a place where you can see how the shift cable goes.
