Bikes: To many to name - I ride a custom built steel frame.
The original Lambert bicycle frames I am familiar with had a pressed in bearing and "custom spindle" with an odd taper. There was a specific set of tools required to service this BB,
We actually tapped a Lambert bicycle frame Italian(the only dimension that worked).
Finding interchangable parts may be tough.

I'm familiar with the problem. The bike shop I worked in years ago sold Viscount which is what the Lambert morphed into. What you need to do is a) replace the fork and b) take the bike to a shop with bottom bracket taps and have it tapped out to Italian thread. You can then thread in a cartridge with Italian thread rings.
