Cold Setting a Ti Frame Rear Drop Out Spacing - 3al / 2.5 ti

Is it safe to cold set a ti frame rear drop out spacing from 135mm to 130mm? The frame is new (lynskey pro cross) and I do not want to risk damaging the frame.

It's best to space out your hub instead.

I thought I'd read titanium doesn't work that way, so I looked around. Seems the alloy makes a difference, are they 3Al/2.5V or 6Al/4V? Apparently not possible with the latter from what I see...

The frame is 3AL / 2.5V.

To space out the hub I assume I need a new longer axle ... correct? Will I have to re - dish the wheel??

Doh. Forgot the title had the info! Don't know if your axle is long enough, generally going to 135 from 130 there's enough, but you shouldn't need to redish the wheel if you use the same spacers on each side of the hub...

Cyclocross bike with either 9sp or 10sp set up (haven't decided yet). I have a Mavic Ksyrium ES wheelset I intended to use.

Lynskey is a boutique firm. Why not send an email and ask them. A friend
bought a frame from them and all his conversations were with the proprietor.
