Cantilver Brake Cable Stop For Suspension Fork
Got a new frame and suspension fork to transfer my parts onto, but there is no cable stop on the fork. There's a threaded hole in the center of the brake bridge I could use to attach one.
Does such a thing exist? I haven't been able to Google one up.
I don't want to go to V-brakes as the shifters I was going to use are (flatbar) STI with short cable pull levers.
I don't want to use the old fork as its heavy, leaking oil, and has a 1 1/8 threaded steerer.
Thanks.

I imagine there is something that could be made to work. I don't have any direct links though.
You could however go to V-brakes, and just get a set of travel agents to correct for the difference in cable pulls.

You can't put canti's on a suspension fork, even with the fork mounted brake hanger. Think about it. The distance between where the cable would stop and the brake mount on the legs would constantly vary with load.
New levers are like $10-$15 for v-brake compatible. Seriously.

You put the hanger on the brake bridge, not the fork crown. Mine is drilled and tapped, it has the same threading as a cantilever/V-brake retaining bolt. If it were just new brake levers that would be fine, but the old controls were STI's so it means new shifters, new brake levers and new brakes to go V-brakes and I'm trying to keep the cost down. I went over budget getting the frame thinking I had everything else I needed to do a straight swap.

Sure you can, my first MTB came like that. The cantis sit on the lower legs, the cable stop at the bridge that tie the lower legs together. Distance between cable stop and brake mount remains the same regardless of suspension movement.

It's very dangerous to jury-rig a hangerless suspension fork to try and make it work with canti brakes. When V-brakes first showed up and manufacturers were switching to stopless arches, brand-specific bolt-on adapters were sometimes available for them. Even these were pretty rare and didn't stick around for long though. Mostly, they just made both hangered and hangerless versions.
If your forks weren't made for standard cantis, I wouldn't use them. Install some V-brakes and a Travel Agent adapter instead.
