Is this chain setup safe?

Hi All,

I was removing extra links from a new Ultegra CN-6700 chain. I accidently removed too many links. I used the assembly pin included with the chain to put 2 links back into the chain. I also have a new KMC 10S master link.

Will it be ok for me to run this setup? (ie, quick link + assembly pin) I don't see a problem with it, but I figure it doesn't hurt to ask.

Thanks,
Bob

Why would it be a problem?
