Bike without bottom bracket.

Hi,

I have a bike that is equipped with the common ball bearing no bottom bracket. I would like to replace that with a quality bottom bracket, is it something possible?
(My bike is a Tonino Lamborghini)

Thanks in advance.

If you mean you have a loose ball cup and cone bottom bracket and want to replace it with a sealed cartridge bottom bracket, then you probably can. You need to know the threading for the cups and the spindle length and specify the crank interface, which I'm guessing is a square taper if you have cup and cone bearings in there now.

It has no bottom bracket???
You mean it has an older-style caged balls cup and cone bottom bracket and you would like to put in a cartridge bottom bracket?
Why?

+1 Your bike has a bottom bracket. Best bet is to take it to the shop of your choice, and they can supply you a nice replacement bb and install it for you.

You'r right, i want to replace a balls cup for a cartridge bottom bracket. Unless somebody tells me that the old style balls cup is as good than the cartridge. What are the advantages and disadvantages of both solutions?

Thanks in advance.

Cup and Cone has the advantage of being servicable, If you like doing that kinda stuff.
Cartridge BB's have the advantage of being better sealed, they require almost no effort, you install you use it til it gets chunky or develops play and you replace it.
