Stem Question

How do you measure a stem length? I assume it is from the center of the steerer to the center of the handlebar, which would make mine 100mm.

Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

Stem length is given the way you said, measured along the length of the extension. For up-angled stems, the true horizontal projection will be less than the measured length.
