9.3-9.5mm axle nut?

9.3-9.5mm axle nut?
My kids Iron Horse BMX bike has an axle that measures about 9.5mmx1 axle nut. A 9x1mm and 10x1mm thread is the same but the 9 is too small and the 10mm is too big. 3/8mm is close in diameter but the thread pitch is off. What size is it?

Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!
Standard 3/8" machine bolt are threaded 16 tpi for NC series and 24tpi for NF series. Bicycle axles tend to be "none of the above" and have their own proprietary threading, in this case it's likely to be 26tpi.
