Battaglin Columbus fork
I've got a older Battaglin (1989ish) with a CrMo Columbus fork.
I'm a bigger guy (250) and mainly ride rural state highways. Some are pretty rough. Some are pretty steep. I've got over 1500 miles this year so I'm using the bike.
It was coming down one of those hills the other day @ almost 40 mph and I began to wonder is there a way to verify the integrity of the attachment of the steerer tube on the crown? Or any other area on the fork prone to breakage.
Thought about magnaflux but didn't think it would show anything under the chrome.
