So, you think it's annoying to bring up an old, relevant thread instead of starting again from scratch, but you don't think it's annoying to fill a thread with unrelated garbage? Get a life. You are the one that's being a jerk.
If you don't want to add to or read a thread, don't. There's no rule that says that every member has to like every thread. Just don't post graffiti over threads others may actually want to read.

That's terrifying Raiyn.
I had a multi-tool and my mom lost it. Now I carry a wrench folding set of allen wrenches, tire levers and a small chain tool. They weigh about as much as an decent multi tool and work better for their selected jobs. Haven't needed much else but a flat kit...yet.

Thanks, I had not noticed. I can certainly understand your outrage over the spam, but I do think an updated review of the subject has some value.

I'm going with Raiyn on this one. This exact topic was just covered in the last couple of weeks.
If the originator of this thread had just looked at the first two pages of threads (at the time) he'd have found it. Anyone who can't understand why Raiyn "went off" on this one is just not paying attention.
for reference, see this thread:
"Best All-in-one biking tool for the road?"
- posted on 2/23/05 - less than two weeks from when this thread started
and, this thread is: "what multi-tool do you use?" DUH !
Plus, you've got to love the bouncing Firebird

Pity the poor person who does a seach in a year's time on multi-tool posts (as always urged by certain people) only to come across this sort of rubbish. Does credibility of neither BF nor Raiyn nor people like you any good whatsoever.
