2 cross spoke help

help i just finished a wheel with 2 cross. Does this pattern go over one spoke and under the next, or is it over over. I have an old sturney archer dyno hub that is 3 x on one side and 2 x on the other and it is over over. but it could be wrong?

Just the last cross.. furthest from the hub..
I rebuilt my Rohloff , they are specifying, either 2 cross or 1 cross,
depending on rim size..

the 2nd inner cross is unnecessary , but if the old sturmey wheel still works leave it be.

Spoke weaving, at all, is somewhat optional..

old dyno hubs were quite dissimilar in flange diameter, too..

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

You're not weaving a basket. On any pattern, 2x 3x 4x outer spokes stay to the outside and inner to the inside until the outermost cross where they're laced over/under.

The lacing isn't absolutely necessary, but it adds some resilience by bending each spoke slightly and allowing them to transfer some stress to each other as the wheel is loaded.
