what size cog removal tool/ freewheel hub remover do i need?

Are these single speed freewheels? A photo would also help.
Here are pictures of a variety Shimano 16t freewheels that don't all use the same remover, so you can see it isn't an easy answer without particulars.
Freewheel removers are specific the engaging ring or notches on different freewheels so an exact match is required.

OK that's easy, you need an MX30 remover like this. A few companies make them including Park whose item number is FR-6. If you can't find one locally I have a few and will sell you one for $9.50 including postage (within the usa).
