Sheared Force crank bolt

Last night I sheared the non-drive side self-extracting bolt as I was trying to remove the crankset. I guess this isn't too uncommon, thankfully. So I'm wondering how to get this crank off...do I drill it out from the drive-side of the crank?

And then after the crank is off, I need a 16mm or 5/8ths allen key to remove the old s-e bolt and install a new one?

Seems simple enough, but I thought I'd ask.

Thanks in advance...

Not to hijack your thread, but I just sheared off a Campy bolt from the drive side of a DaVinci crankset. I was able to use the crank extractor and pull the crank off the BB axle. Now my problem is removing the broken bolt from the bottom bracket axle. Can you remove the crankarm with a crank extractor, or is the broken bolt interfering?

it broke here:

So the 8mm bolt broke, and is pretty rounded out on top of that.
