Steerer tube and Frame Saver

I'm about to start building my first bike. It's a Long Haul Trucker so it's a steel frame and fork. I have spayed the frame with two coats of Frame Saver but was wondering about the fork steerer tube. Should I spray it inside and out, or leave it alone?

Thanks.

+1. You don't want to spray the outside as the headset bearing cartridges and crown race are a snug slip fit over it.

That's what I'll do then. Thanks for the replies.
