K2 pedal change help
hello,
i seem to be a bit confused with changing my pedals on my k2 zed 2.3
i grabbed my allen wrenches and looked at the back of the pedal, but the area to put the wrench is coverd. is this just a cap? i tried to pop it out with a flat head but it wasnt budging making me second guess.

Are you un-screwing it the correct way, as the pedal threads are different on each crank https://www.parktool.com/blog/repair-...-4-pw-5-hcw-16
using the correct tool will help as well, a vice grip can be used, but a proper pedal wrench will do the job better, as the area to get the wrench into is normally quite narrow.

Heh, yep. rightside so its counter. i had looked at the threads of the replacement pedal too. I do think I accidently went clock one time when i was trying to get leverage though so i might have jamed it. Did however ride the other day back from the bar (pedal fell off going there) I hope it didnt fark the threads. I'm thinkin its not looking good, I mean i managed to throw out my back trying to get this darn thing off lol. Barely got inside, to the fridge for a beer and to the couch. and I should have grabbed 2 or 6 beers cause I can't get up lol.

I would suspend operations until you have a proper fitting wrench. Nothing adjustable and especially not vicegrips. You just can't get the grip and leverage that you need and if you get something to move you are more likely to round off the flats.
