Campy Compatibility Question
Can I use my current Chorus Crankset (late 90's early 2000) with the following Campy 10sp components?
Campagnolo Chorus 10 UltraShift Ergopower Levers 2009
Campagnolo Chorus 10 Speed Rear Derailleur
Campagnolo Centaur 10 Speed Cassette 13-26T
Campagnolo Record 10 Speed Chain
or would I have to replace the crankset?
Thanks!

it will "work" but to shift properly you will want 10spd chain rings. when campy moved to 10spd they milled the mounting tabs on the outer ring to move them closer together.
i am speaking from the voice of experience by the way. i briefly ran 10spd on a stock c-record crank. shifting was pretty poor. i know have 10spd rings and it shifts great.

i may have overplayed it a little but the 10spd rings made a very noticeable improvement. i can shift into the big ring in a full sprint. th c-record rings would not allow for that. it will work, but campagnolo didnt add a machining step to their chainrings for fun.
