Cannondale CAAD 9 help needed Please!!

I'm buying online a new group for my '09 CAAD 9. I'm getting a Rival group set, and I need to know some specifics please for certain items.

Do I need to get a braze on Front Derailleur, or a clamp? If I need a clamp, do I need a 31.8mm or 34.9mm clamp?

Also, the group set I'm looking at comes with the Sram GPX BB. Will this work on the CAAD?

Thanks for you help. I will only be doing some of the install that I know how to do. My lbs will do the rest, I just need to make sure that buy the correct parts.

So you have the frame? Just take some basic measurements. The old front derailleur should have a size on it. Or just measure the seat tube.

Regarding the BB, whats it look like? Its probably either your standard English threaded 68mm BB or a BB30.

CAAD9 uses 34.9mm and standard english 68mm BB shell.

BB30 was not standard for CAAD9. Some later models had a limited special option for it, if I remember.
CAAD10 has it as a catalog option.

I believe the 2010 model year CAAD9 came BB30 as standard. There were also BB30 CAAD9 frames floating around before then too. If you don't know what it looks like ask somebody that does, but most BB30 versions will have a sticker near the BB shell that says "BB30".

thanks, my '09 is definately not a BB30, but is an english threaded BB. I just wanted to be sure the sram GPX would work. Also, the 34.9 clamp sounds right. I'll go with that and if it's not correct, the lbs should have the correct parts or be able to get 'em.

Thanks very much guys!!
