My fork...need a new one?

I have a marz exr pro 100mm and when I go up and down on it it is sounding kinda clunky....does this mean the fork is about to fail?

sounding clunky? Can you hear an abnormal noise? Is it like a lot of play with the stanchion tubes?

I have this fork as well, and just switched to Avid disc in the front. I am now very aware of lateral play between the stanchions and the lowers during braking.

Chances are you don't produce the same kinds of load effects as PWRD does.

Probably, if your gettign excessive play your bushings are shot though, sounding clunky is not a great explanation .
