Need help putting Shimano 600 friction shifters back together

Took apart my Shimano 600 Arabesque shifters today on the recommendation of the LBS, which told me they had gotten kind of sticky. So I cleaned them out, greased them and put them back together. Now, when I turn the lever, however, the screw holding the thing together turns too. It's probably an easy fix but I'm kind of stumped here. Anybody have any solutions?
