I use a little dap of waterproof grease where the bare shifter cable slides under the bottom bracket. I hadn't seen that location mentioned.
I am astonished! I had no idea cyclists had such varying ideas on lubricating.... I thought we only disagreed on chain oiling.

Greased:
Cup-and-cone hub bearings
Cup-and-cone bottom bracket bearings
Cup-and-cone headset bearings
Bottom bracket cup threads.
Any and all threaded bolts (like water bottle bolts, derailleur mounting bolts, brake mounting bolts, etc.)
Seatposts.
Quill stems.
Pedal threads.

Upper and lower derailleur pivots
Brake pivot and thrust bushings/bearings
Crank tapers and splined interfaces
Spoke threads and nipple sockets (preferably with anti-seize)
although in these cases you wait until something isn't working right (derailleur is sluggish taking up slack following a shift) or you have it apart for other reasons (rim replacement)
The same applies to threads - only when things get disassembled for whatever reason.
For me stems and seat posts are a periodic thing, rotating bearings mileage based.

Just out of curiosity......
My C'dale seat stem never seems to run out of white streaky grease whenever I'm playing w/ seat height. (I'm mostly set now, but every once in a while, I'll change height for a buddy to ride w/ me).
Does anybody know for sure.....is that white lithium grease?? (I do like white lithium grease, just not sure if that's what this is)
