installing back brake to front

installing back brake to front
I have a Shimano br-4600 tiagra back brake & i want to mount it on the front but I can't find front mounts any where. all searchs lead me to disc brake adapters. is there a place & can buy just the front brake mount?

What is a brake mount? Doesn't a Tiagra caliper bolt through the hole at the top of the fork? What more are you looking for?

The OP had me thinking he was talking disc brakes. But Lo, it's just bolt on calipers.
There is no difference in front and back caliper brakes, except the length of the bolt. The easy fix is to get a nut long enough to reach.

Just about anyplace, bike shop or etailer. Measure the length from the outside of the back of the fork, to the inside of the front. Or the width of the crown, less the front wall thickness. If the fork has a closed bottom, stick a pencil in the back hole eraser first, push it until it bottoms, make a mark measure from there to the end.
Don't forget to subtract 4mm for working clearance. If in doubt, buy a longer bolt, and fix it with a saw and file.

That's what I'm talking about. If it were a system where the bolt reaches all the way through, you'd be SOL.

The above isn't a Pan pipe, or vibraphone, it's an assortment of recessed brake nuts. Figure what length you need then visit a dealer, or search "6mm recessed brake nut" and find the nearest length.
