Softride Stem - bushing replacement
My previous question (lateral torsion on a Softride stem) over in the "general discussion" area has yielded the good advice that I need a bushing kit for this stem.
The question here is: is there some off-the-shelf bushings that will work, as is, for this? Finding a genuine rebuild kit seems like a needle in a haystack project.

A 1st hand problem solving suggestion ... Take it off and go down to a place that sells bushings and ask .. with it in your hand ,
you may want to tear it down and accurately measure the bushings and the holes they go into, and pieces they go around.
then you can speak in sizes , not just the piece brand name they go into..

I've never seen any adequate bushings that replace the softride specific inserts.
You have the chromoly stem or the aluminum style?
These 2 utilize different bushings, w the alum style needing 8+the chromoly only 4
I've got them . PM me, I'll set u up
