Crisp shifting
ok my two bikes
my marin has rapid fire shifters, i tune these in
and i get instant shifts... love em
on my trek mtb,grip shifters, theres always lag in my shifting
any way too make the grip shifters do better?
reveal the secrets !!

Bikes: 2008 Novara Randonee - love it. Previous bikes:Motobecane Mirage, 1972 Moto Grand Jubilee (my fave), Jackson Rake 16, 1983 C'dale ST500.
Secrets (shh!)
- Proper adjustment of derailleurs.
- Correct cable housing length (too long slows shifting, too short creates friction)
- Older chains can develop side flex and slow shifting, older cogs/chainwheels can develop wear with same effect.
- Grip Shift may just be slower, or you may be slower with your wrist than with your fingers.
