Removing rear wheel on a Scott E.Sub Comfort Solution pedal assist?

Hello

Someone I know got a puncture in the rear wheel of the Scott E.Sub Comfort Solution e-bike he bought:

The chain is as tight as could be and the axle sits right against the chainstay in the horizontal dropout, so I guess the chain must be loosened at the other end, but he's reluctant to fiddle with the Bosch bottom bracket.

Does someone know how to remove the rear wheel?

Thank you.

I haven't, because experience shows that technical forums on the Net usually provide better and faster answers.
